What IS a berry? Why it's a small, pulpy fruit, which is typically edible as well. Most of them are colorful, with bright hues, rounded and juicy. Some are sweet and some are sour, and they do not have a big pit or stone in the center (at times, many small seeds or pips). They are also, more often than not, really healthy, being able to prevent and help with a variety of health concerns. The guide below you leads to the health benefits of 8 different berries. Pick the one you'd like to know more about and click on the title! LinkI enjoy blue berries and strawberries.

I thought it sounds unbelievable a banana being a berry. I know, right? Well, get ready for this: Watermelons are berries. And so are cucumbers, cantaloupes, squash and pumpkins.
